Welcome to Wise Words.uk (the "Website"). This Website and the coaching services offered through it are owned and operated by Wise Words (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing this Website or booking our services, you (“the Client”, “user”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. [1]

1. The Services & Coaching Boundary
1.1 Forward-Focused Scope: Wise Words provides online and remote life coaching services designed to uncover internal blind spots, integrate buried personal traits, and encourage positive future personal growth.
1.2 Non-Medical Disclaimer: Life coaching is not counselling, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, or clinical mental health treatment. The industry is currently unregulated in the UK.
1.3 Client Responsibility: You remain fully responsible for your own mental well-being, choices, and decisions. We do not diagnose, treat, or cure any psychological conditions. If clinical psychological distress or trauma surfaces during our services, we reserve the right to immediately pause sessions and refer you to a licensed medical professional. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
2. Bookings, Payments, and Fees [1]
2.1 Payment Terms: All fees for sessions or packages must be paid in full at the time of booking via our online checkout system before services commence.
2.2 Pricing Transparency: All pricing displayed on Wise Words.uk is transparent. Any structural price adjustments will not impact packages or sessions already paid for. [1]
3. UK Consumer Cancellation Rights (14-Day Cooling-Off Period) [1]
3.1 Statutory Right to Cancel: Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days of booking without giving any reason (the "Cooling-Off Period").
3.2 Express Request to Start Early: If you schedule and attend a coaching session within this 14-day window, you must explicitly request the services to start early.
3.3 Proportionate Deductions: If you choose to cancel within the 14 days after a session has already occurred, you will receive a refund minus the proportionate value of the coaching services delivered up to the point of cancellation. 4. Rescheduling and No-Show Policy [1]
4.1 24-Hour Notice: You may reschedule any booked coaching session free of charge, provided you give at least 24 hours' notice before the scheduled start time.
4.2 Late Cancellations & No-Shows: If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, or fail to attend a scheduled session within 15 minutes of the start time, the session will be deemed forfeited. No refunds or make-up sessions will be provided for late cancellations or no-shows. [1, 2, 3]
5. Intellectual Property [1]
5.1 Proprietary Content: All content, tools, frameworks, session worksheets, videos, and text available on Wise Words.uk or shared during sessions are the intellectual property of Wise Words.
5.2 Limited Licence: You are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use downloaded worksheets for your own personal growth. You strictly must not modify, resell, distribute, or publicly share any materials provided by Wise Words. [1, 2, 3]
6. Data Protection & Confidentiality [1]
6.1 UK GDPR Compliance: Any personal data or intake information you provide is handled strictly in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
6.2 Confidentiality Limits: Everything discussed in coaching sessions remains strictly confidential. The only exceptions to this rule are if we believe there is an imminent risk of serious harm to yourself or others, or if we are legally compelled to disclose information by a UK court of law. 7.1 No Guarantees: Wise Words provides tools to encourage positive growth, but individual outcomes rely entirely on client implementation. We make no specific guarantees regarding results.
7.2 Liability Cap: To the maximum extent permitted by English law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with our services shall be limited to the total fees paid by you to Wise Words for those specific services.
